ShipTurtle provides a robust Review Feature that lets you collect, display, and manage vendor reviews on your Shopify store. This feature helps you gain insights into vendor performance and build trust with customers. This article will guide you through setting up, displaying, and moderating reviews using ShipTurtle.

1. Create Vendor Profiles
Before you can collect reviews, you need vendor profiles where reviews will be displayed.
- In ShipTurtle Dashboard, go to Vendors
- Create or verify vendor profiles
- Make sure each vendor has a unique profile page that can display reviews
Vendor profiles serve as the primary place where customers can view past reviews and leave new ones — so having them set up correctly is essential.
2. Customize Your Website to Show Reviews
After enabling the Review Feature, you need to configure your Shopify site to display the Reviews Tab on vendor profile pages.
- In the ShipTurtle app, navigate to:
Settings → Multi‑Vendor Settings → Customize Website → Manage vendor profile page - Under the customization options, find the tab:
“Tick the info you want to display on the vendor profile page” - Enable the Reviews Tab by checking the box next to it
- Scroll down and click Save
This ensures the reviews section is visible on vendor profiles on your Shopify storefront.
3. Collect Reviews on Your Shopify Website
Once the Reviews Tab is enabled and vendor profiles are live, customers can start submitting feedback.
- Visit your Shopify website
- Navigate to the Vendors page
- Click a specific vendor to view their profile
- You will now see the Reviews tab
Customers can use this tab to:
- Rate the vendor (e.g., star rating)
- Write detailed reviews about the vendor’s products or services
These reviews will be stored in ShipTurtle and can be moderated before displaying publicly.
4. Approve or Reject Reviews
To maintain quality and relevance, ShipTurtle lets you moderate reviews before they appear on the website.
- In ShipTurtle Dashboard, go to Vendors
- Select Approve Reviews
- You’ll see a list of submitted reviews pending moderation
- For each review, choose to:
- Approve (publish on the vendor profile)
- Reject (remove or skip showing on the website)
This gives you control over which reviews are displayed and helps prevent inappropriate content from appearing on your marketplace.
5. Best Practices for Using the Review Feature
To maximize the impact of vendor reviews:
- Encourage honest feedback: Prompt customers after purchase to leave a review
- Respond to reviews: Address customer concerns where appropriate to build trust
- Display average ratings prominently on vendor listings and search pages
