Welcome to Shipturtle! Accessing your marketplace dashboard is quick, easy, and secure. Depending on your preference and account setup, you can choose from four different methods to log into your account.
1. Log In with Username and Password
This is the standard login method using the credentials you created when setting up your account or the credentials provided by your marketplace merchant.
How to log in:
- Go to the Shipturtle login page (next.app.shipturtle.com).
- Enter your Username and your Password.
- Click Log In to access your dashboard.
2. Log In via Google
If you signed up using your Google account, or if your Google email matches your Shipturtle account, you can use the single sign-on (SSO) feature for faster access.
How to log in:
- On the login page, click the Continue with Google button.
- A pop-up will appear prompting you to select a Google account.
- Choose your registered Google ID to log in automatically.
Note for Agencies & Multi-Account Users: If you manage multiple companies or agencies across different Shipturtle accounts, make sure you select the exact Google ID that is registered with the specific store you are trying to access.
3. Log In via OTP (One-Time Password)
For added convenience and security, you can log in without needing to remember your password by requesting a secure One-Time Password (OTP) sent directly to your inbox.
How to log in via OTP:
- On the login page, click the Login via OTP option.
- Enter your registered Email ID and submit the request.
- Check your email inbox. You will receive a system email containing your OTP. (Note: This OTP is valid for exactly 5 minutes).
- Enter the OTP on the Shipturtle login screen to proceed.
Managing Multiple Stores (Multi-Tenant Access)
If your email address is associated with more than one Shipturtle store, the system will recognize this. After successfully entering your OTP, you will see a list of all your available stores. Simply click on the specific store you wish to log into for that session.
4. Log In From Shopify
When you install Shipturtle from the Shopify App Store, accessing your dashboard is incredibly simple. This is the recommended way for merchants to access the marketplace admin.
How to log in:
- Go to your Shopify Admin dashboard.
- Click on Apps in the left sidebar.
- Select Shipturtle from your list of installed apps.
- You will be logged in automatically and taken straight to your Shipturtle dashboard.
Important: Make sure you are logged into Shopify with the correct admin account before clicking the app.
What to Do If You Forget Your Password
If you forget your password as an admin or vendor, you have two simple ways to regain access:
Option A: Through Shopify (For Merchants)
If you can still access your Shopify Admin but cannot remember your specific Shipturtle password, simply go to your Shopify Admin → Apps → Shipturtle. You will be logged into Shipturtle via your active Shopify session automatically.
Option B: Through the Shipturtle Login Page
- Go to the Shipturtle login page (https://next.app.shipturtle.com).
- Click the Forgot password link located below the login form.
- Enter your registered email address.
- Follow the secure password reset instructions sent to your inbox.
How to Change Your Password
If you know your current password and just want to update it for security reasons, you can do this directly inside the app.
How to change your password:
- Navigate to Settings → General Settings → Change Password.
- Enter your Current Password and then type in your New Password.
- Click Save to apply your changes. Your next login will require this new password.
How to Add New Users (Admins or Vendors)
Shipturtle allows you to create multiple login accounts with permissions tailored to specific roles, making it easy for your team or your vendors to log in safely.
How to add a user:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Go to Merchant Profile (or Vendor Profile) → Users & Permissions → Add User.
- Fill in their details and assign the appropriate role or access level (Note: Advanced permissions are available as an add-on).
- Click Save.
The new users will immediately receive an email with their login credentials and can log in using any of the methods described above.
Important Notes & Best Practices
- Check Spam/Junk Folders: Emails containing new login credentials, OTPs, or password reset links can sometimes get caught in spam filters. If you don’t see an expected email in your primary inbox, please check all folders.
- Shopify SSO Advantage: Logging in via the Shopify Admin automatically authenticates you, meaning separate Shipturtle passwords are not required during that session.
- Permissions Control: Only admins with adequate permissions have the ability to create new user accounts or modify overarching password settings.
