Logging in


This article explains how admins and vendors can log in to ShipTurtle whether through Shopify or directly via the app along with steps for password management and adding new users.

1. Logging In From Shopify

If you installed ShipTurtle from the Shopify App Store, access is simple:

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin
  2. Click Apps in the sidebar
  3. Select ShipTurtle from the list

You will be logged in automatically and taken to your ShipTurtle dashboard. This is the recommended way for merchants to access the marketplace admin.
(Make sure you are logged into Shopify with the correct admin account.)

2. Logging In From the ShipTurtle App URL

You can also log in directly from our cloud app:

  1. Open your browser and go to:
    https://next.app.shipturtle.com
  2. Enter your login credentials

These credentials are emailed to you when ShipTurtle is installed. If you cannot find the email, check your spam or promotions folder.

After your first login, you can change your password from within the app.

3. Forgot Password

If you forget your password as an admin (or vendor):

Option A: Through Shopify

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin
  2. Navigate to Apps → ShipTurtle
  3. You will be logged into ShipTurtle via your Shopify session

(This works if you can still access Shopify Admin but can’t remember your ShipTurtle password.)

Option B: Through ShipTurtle Login Page

  1. Go to https://next.app.shipturtle.com
  2. Click Forgot password below the login form
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Follow the password reset instructions sent to your inbox

4. Change Your Password

To change your own password:

  1. Go to Settings → General Settings → Change Password
  2. Enter your current password and new password
  3. Save your changes

Your login will now use the new password.

Add New Users (Admins or Vendors)

ShipTurtle allows you to create multiple login accounts with permissions tailored to roles:

Go to Settings

  1. Select Merchant Profile/Vendor Profile → Users & Permissions → Add User
  2. Assign appropriate role or access level (Available as an add-on)
  3. Click Save

New users will receive their login credentials via email and can log in using the same steps described above.

Notes & Best Practices

  • Check Spam/Junk Folders: Emails containing login credentials or reset links sometimes go to spam. If you don’t see them in your inbox, check all folders.
  • Shopify SSO: Logging in via Shopify Admin automatically authenticates you, so separate ShipTurtle passwords are not required in that session.
  • Permissions Control: Only admins with adequate permissions can create new users or change password settings.
