Ziina Integration

How marketplace owners connect their Ziina business account to Shipturtle, and how vendors add their Ziina details so they can be paid through Ziina.

  • Marketplace owners and admins who want to pay vendors through Ziina (Part A).
  • Vendors who want to receive their payouts in their Ziina account (Part B).

Before you begin

  • The Ziina add-on is active. Ziina is an add-on module. Go to Settings → Subscription and billing, open the Payouts section, find Ziina and click Add. The Ziina option only appears in Integrations once the add-on is active.
  • Your Ziina business account is ready. You've completed Ziina's onboarding and your account is verified. Ziina's onboarding asks for a UAE phone number and an Emirates ID.

Part A: Connect Ziina as the marketplace owner

Step 1: Get your Access Token from Ziina

Shipturtle connects to Ziina with an Access Token (also called an API key) from your Ziina business account. Generate one in your Ziina account and copy it. For help, see Ziina's help centre article "Where can I get the API key?".

⚠️ Note: Treat your Access Token like a password. Never share it in screenshots, chats or screen recordings.


Step 2: Add Ziina in Shipturtle

  1. In Shipturtle, go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Under Payment integrations, click Configure.
  3. On the Payment integration page, click the + icon.
  4. In Add Payment integrations, open the Payment gateway dropdown and choose Ziina.
  5. Paste your Access Token.
  6. Tick Check to make this payment integration as default if you want Ziina to be your default payout method.
  7. Click Submit.

Paste your Access Token, then click Submit. The token is blurred.

Once saved, Ziina appears in your Payment integration list with the status Connected.

Part B: Connect Ziina as a vendor

Each vendor who wants to be paid through Ziina adds their own Ziina username from their vendor dashboard. Vendors don't need an Access Token.

  1. Log in to your vendor dashboard and go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Under Payment integrations, click Configure.
  3. On the Payment integration page, click the + icon.
  4. Open the Payment gateway dropdown and choose Ziina.
  5. Enter your Ziina username (your Zii-name).
  6. Click Submit.

💡 Tip: Double-check your Zii-name. Payouts are sent to whichever Ziina account it belongs to. To find or change it, see Ziina's help centre article "How can I change my Zii-name?".


How payouts work after setup

Once the marketplace and the vendor have both connected Ziina, you can pay that vendor through Ziina from the Payouts page, or automatically with payout automation. Payouts are sent from the marketplace's Ziina business account to the vendor's Ziina account.

FAQs

I can't see Ziina in the Payment gateway dropdown.

The Ziina add-on isn't active yet. Activate it under Settings → Subscription and billing, then try again.

Where do I find my Access Token?

In your Ziina business account. Ziina's help centre article "Where can I get the API key?" walks you through it.

Can I use Ziina alongside other payout methods?

Yes. Several payment integrations can be connected at once. Tick Check to make this payment integration as default to choose which one is used by default.

What does a vendor need to connect?

Only their Ziina username (Zii-name). No Access Token or API setup is needed on their side.

Troubleshooting

"This field is required" when I click Submit

The Access Token is required for the marketplace. Vendors must enter their Ziina username.

Ziina connected, but it isn't my default

Open Ziina in your Payment integration list with the edit icon and tick Check to make this payment integration as default.

A vendor didn't receive their payout

Check that the vendor's Zii-name is correct and belongs to an active Ziina account.

Recommended next step

Connect Ziina for your marketplace, ask one vendor to add their Zii-name, and send a small test payout from the Payouts page before rolling it out to all vendors.
